Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou was born in Beaumont in France's Puy-de-Domme on the 9th of August, 1976. She was the youngest child of four. She was encouraged by her parents, a dentist, and a teacher who both taught her to pursue her passion for the theatre. It was in stark contrast to an earlier desire to pursue a career as a primateologist since she loved monkeys. Her meteoric rise as an actress in her early years was quick and marked by early success. When she finished her education and acting, she appeared on the French television show that scouts talent Jeunes Premiers that was sponsored by Canal+. She won the award for the best young Actress prize at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors in the year 2000. She then began a acting career. Tautou is a pupil of the Institut Catholique de Paris in Paris as a child and enrolled in the school at the age of a child but has sworn off her Catholic education. The actress declares herself to be non-Catholic. Apart from her acting career she is also pursuing modeling. The model was for L'Oreal Mont Blanc, Chanel and has been referred as "The Chanel Muse". A keen photographer, she has recently exhibited at The Arles International Festival that was titled Superficial. The work she produces is focused on fame as well as fame. Also, it features portraits of herself and focus on journalists that have closely scrutinized Tautou following her rapid popularity after Amelie. Audrey Tautou rose to fame and stardom with her major part in the film Le Fabuleux of Amelie Poulain.
