Emily Irene VanCamp was born in Canada and is an actress who has starred in multiple television series. She also excels in the film industry. There is a huge fanbase on American as well as Canadian TV. At the age of Emily was 12, she began to become interested in acting after she visited her sister Katie while filming one of her films. After discovering her enthusiasm for the acting world she enrolled herself in classes for it and started auditioning. The first commercials she auditioned for were and was soon cast as a child actor on the Canadian TV horror series Are You Scared of Darkness? In the show, she appeared in just one scene without any dialog. At the age of fifteen, Emily made her big breakthrough when she became an official character on the WB television series Glory Days. Emily's performances caught the attention to Dawson's Creek's Greg Berlanti, who then cast her on his television show Everwood. Emily was also a dancer as well as a photographer. Teen once named her one of the most talented actors who were under twenty. She was ranked at number 51 on Maxim's Hot 100 list of 2014.
