The date of her birth is March 29th, 1985 in Roswell in New Mexico. Gerina is the full name of her. Gerina Stevenson is a native of Mexico in the family of Mexican parents Alan Stevenson and Rita Stevenson. She has Mexican roots, yet is American in nationality. Since her early years, her desire to be engaged in sport was strong. Gerina began to play golf when she was fifteen. Gerina attended Goddard High School for her high school education. She won her place in the New Mexico State Golf Tournament during her time in high school. In addition, she was a volleyball player at the level of state. She attended an institution called the University of Texas in 2003. Through the latter seasons of her professional career, she had won every tournament where she played. In her undergraduate year, she received Conference USA's individual player of year, as well as UTEP's Female Athletic of the Year.
