Jennifer Garner is a West Virginia native born in Houston on 17 April 1972. William John Garner worked as the chemist of Union Carbide. The mother of her Patricia Ann taught at a local college. In order to continue in the footsteps of her father she graduated as a chemical engineer. Since she wanted to be an actress she went into New York. She worked as a chef in the restaurant in New York, as well as appearing in Broadway productions. Her husband of the first time Scott Foley met her on the show "Felicity," where she was a guest. Garner was a star in the romantic comedy "13 Going on 30" in which she played the role of a teenage girl trapped within the body of a 30-year-old. Garner picked Gary Winick as the director of her movie. The team continued to look for new projects after Winick's demise in the year 2011.
